UNESCO Africa week is the annual flagship event of the Africa Group at UNESCO, a body that brings together the Member States of the African continent. Africa week includes a kaleidoscope of cultural, scientific, artistic and epicurean events in honor of Africa Day (25 May), when the Organization of African Unity (OAU), today the African Union (AU), was founded in 1963. Alberta African Arts and Cultural Centre is organizing different activities whose one of them is a barbecue with a Djembe Circle and a Reggae Tone performance.

La Semaine de l'Afrique de l'UNESCO est l'événement phare annuel du Groupe Afrique de l'UNESCO, un organe qui rassemble les États membres du continent africain. La semaine de l'Afrique comprend un kaléidoscope d'événements culturels, scientifiques, artistiques et épicuriens en l'honneur de la Journée de l'Afrique (25 mai), date à laquelle l'Organisation de l'unité africaine (OUA), aujourd'hui l'Union africaine (UA), a été fondée en 1963.
Le Centre culturel et des arts africains de l'Alberta organise différentes activités, dont un barbecue offert avec des performances de djembé (tam-tam) dirigé par Malala Production et Reggae Tone dirigé Ashford Baker.
